Governance and public sector reform
S•E•B STRATEGY has recognised expertise and experience in building and initiating programmes for public sector reform – including senior civil service reform, regulatory oversight, and e-government. We are acknowledged as leading experts on developing and promoting transparency and accountability in nations with significant oil and mining sectors, through initiatives such as the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI). Sefton Darby is the lead author of the World Bank’s definitive guide on implementation of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative.
Facilitating partnerships
Another notable area of expertise is in brokering partnerships between government, companies, and civil society/voluntary groups. We have direct experience of building such partnerships in a number of countries, with a special focus on industries such as IT, oil, and mining.
